At any time we have between 80 and 100 bull elk, cows and calves.  In addition to caring for them we also grow about 180 acres of hay, the first cutting being sold to horse owners and second and third cuts kept here to feed our livestock. 

Tom began his relationship with elk in 1991, purchasing 4 head of elk from Stoney Ridge Game Farm and Ward Goff.  This was the beginning of our current herd.  Over the years Tom purchased or bred many top bulls that include genetics from great bulls such as King, Undenyabull, Platinum, OP Jesse, Smokin Ash, Roys Boy, Doozer, White Lightening, Maverick and our own herd sires  Proud Diamond, 

9L and Awesome 121.

Through the use of AI and live cover with our own top bulls, we have managed our herd of cows to the point where they are all from these top bloodlines crossing very well  with our current International Champion bull for the last 4 years.
